Al meer dan vijf jaar maakt fotografe Leilani Rogers de meest bijzondere foto’s van geboortes. Thuis, in bad, in het ziekenhuis, met een keizersnede of vaginaal… alles komt voorbij in haar prachtige beelden. Leilani publiceerde onlangs een overzicht van de meest bijzondere foto’s uit haar archief. Ze wil hiermee laten zien dat bevallen heel mooi en bijzonder is. Dat er niks ‘vies’ aan is (zoals sommige mensen kennelijk tegen haar zeggen), maar dat het het meest fascinerende is wat deze wereld ons brengt.
